- What is PMP Clearinghouse?
- PMP Clearinghouse is a data repository that intakes and validates dispensation data from dispensing organization, and passes the information along to individual state PDMPs.
- Do I need to register for PMP Clearinghouse?
- You only need to register for PMP Clearinghouse if your organization dispenses prescription data. If you currently submit data to www.aaicures.com you will need to register for PMP Clearinghouse.
- There are no changes to the CURES portal to request patient data. If you only request patient data, you do not need to take any action.
- I don't have/am not sure which DEA or NPI to register with. How do I complete the registration?
- These fields are not required on registration. They are informational only and are used to auto-populate information if you choose to enter the fields.
- I need to update the DEA/NPI Number on my account, how do I do this?
- You do not need to revise the profile to correct this information as it is only an informational to help you submit the form as stated above. All submitters need to do is ensure that files are submitted with the appropriate identifiers, with the understanding that multiple organizations can submit under the same account. More information on that is in the next FAQ.
- Do I have to create a separate account for separate locations?
- No, you have the option to create one account and add additional users to the account. If someone else at your organization has registered see: Quick Reference Guide for CA CURES Submitters for more information.
- Is there a cost to use PMP Clearinghouse?
- There is no cost from Bamboo Health to use PMP Clearinghouse. If you received information about costs associated, contact your software vendor.
- When will my account be approved?
- All pending accounts have been automatically approved. Newly created accounts will be automatically approved. If you have any trouble with your account, please submit a request at the bottom of this page and we are happy to assist you.
- When can I begin submitting data?
- California launched with PMP Clearinghouse on 2/23/21. If you have not registered already, you will need to register and begin submitting data as soon as possible.
